1. Treatment of Lymphangitis with Radiofrequency

  • Successful outcome in a 7-year-old ISH: This case study showcases the successful management of lymphangitis in a 7-year-old Irish Sport Horse (ISH) using INDIBA over a 6-week period. The treatment not only improved circulation in the affected limb but also aided in the horse’s complete recovery, allowing it to return to eventing successfully.
  • Chronic Lymphangitis Battle: A 12-year-old Thoroughbred stallion struggled with chronic lymphangitis for two years, serving as the catalyst for interest in INDIBA therapy. Despite long-term prednisone and antibiotic use, accompanied by red light therapy and massage, the stallion faced complications, including multi-drug resistance and a pathologic fracture of the hock. Despite intensive treatment efforts, the stallion did not recover, underscoring the severity and challenges associated with chronic cases.
  • First Occurrence in a 3-Year-Old Mare: A 3-year-old ISH mare experienced her first bout of lymphangitis, presenting with significant swelling at the hock. Treatment commenced promptly, aiming to alleviate swelling and pain to facilitate breeding. Through a month of weekly INDIBA treatments, the mare exhibited notable improvement, becoming paddock sound and successfully bred from. Regrettably, the mare later succumbed to a field injury, highlighting the unpredictable nature of equine health.
  • Successful Resolution in a 13-Year-Old Gelding: A 13-year-old ISH gelding was the first lymphangitis case treated with INDIBA therapy. Following a week of antibiotics and pain medication, two INDIBA sessions resulted in complete resolution of swelling. This success echoed in three mild cases, all responding positively to similar treatment approaches, indicating the potential efficacy of INDIBA in managing lymphangitis across varying severities.

  • Recovery in a 16-Year-Old Thoroughbred: A 16-year-old Thoroughbred with a history of eventing to 2* faced a severe lymphangitis episode, complicated by an abscess formation on the fetlock. Treatment commenced promptly after antibiotic and NSAID administration, with INDIBA therapy proving instrumental in restoring the horse to soundness and light ridden work within four sessions.

2. INDIBA Radiofrequency for Trigeminal-Mediated Headshaking

In this report, a 24-year-old mare suffering from trigeminal-mediated headshaking found relief through a course of INDIBA radiofrequency targeting the maxillary branch of the trigeminal nerve. 3. Hindlimb Medial Suspensory Ligament Branch Strain
