Treatment
The medical team uses INDIBA technology both in preparation (before training), to treat issues, and in recovery. Heat (diathermy) combined with massage is very popular with athletes. This therapy, often associated with a change in training or rest, is effective for almost all musculoskeletal pathologies.
“Typical injuries for elite lifters are primarily injuries that occur due to the overuse of specific muscle groups. Injury rates in this sport are similar to those reported for other physical activities and sports but can be very damaging at the top end of the elite competition. A few of the more traumatic injuries will even compromise joint integrity. INDIBA technology provides us with a means of recovery, preparation, and treatment of the pathologies our sportsmen and women pick up in their pursuit of improved performance.”
