Quentin BIGOT

Hammer-thrower

Quentin Bigot is a French athlete specialized in the hammer-throw. He began his sporting career at the tender age of 12. He was the European Junior Champion and the youngest person to qualify for the French team for the London 2012 Olympic Games, and quickly made a name for himself in the world of athletics.

Quentin has reached a remarkable level in his discipline, winning several medals at national and international championships. His highlight to date is his silver medal at the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar. He also competed in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, where he ranked among the world’s best hammer throwers.

In 2022, he broke the mythical 80m barrier for the first time, finishing 4th at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Quentin Bigot is known for his dedication and determination. His career inspires many young athletes to pursue their dreams with passion.

Treatment

In early 2023, Quentin Bigot underwent surgery for a slipped disc. Together with his medical team, he decided to incorporate INDIBA Tecartherapy and AEROflow negative pressure into his treatment protocols. After his recovery, he set his sights on the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He decided not to participate in the 2023 World Championships in order to have time to get back to his best after the operation.
