Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy

International tennis Academy

Founded in Villena, Spain, in 1990, Ferrero Tennis Academy has become a globally renowned high-performance academy. Featuring 23 courts of various surfaces and a world-class sports complex, the academy works to bring the best out of each player. Founder, Antonio Martínez Cascales, main aim was to provide the best facilities and conditions for young players to improve their tennis, enabling them to compete at a professional level.

Juan Carlos Ferrero joined Cascales’ program in 1990, at the age of 10. Working at the Academy, he eventually became the world’s No. 1 player, in 2003. Many more players have benefited from training at the academy and gone on to play professionally. Ferrero, now a coach and director, personally decided to train Carlos Alcaraz, also guiding him to the top of the ATP rankings and making the Ferrero Tennis Academy the only academy in Europe to nurture two world No. 1 players from their youth.
