Currently ranked world number 1, Iga Swiatek is a Polish-born professional tennis player who started playing tennis at just 6 years old. She is now recognized in the tennis world for her mental composure, aggressive play, consistent technique, and great court mastery.
Iga’s career began to shine in 2018 when she secured the top spot in the world junior tennis ranking. In 2020, she won Roland Garros for the first time without losing a single match, holding the 54th position in the world ranking at that time. She then went on to become the first Polish tennis player to win an individual Grand Slam title and the youngest singles champion in the tournament since Rafael Nadal in 2005.
Iga’s impressive record includes more than 17 titles, comprising four Grand Slams (Roland Garros 2020, 2022, and 2023, and the US Open 2022), a WTA Finals, six WTA 1000, five WTA 500, and one WTA 250.
